Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of each other. The compression damping additionally features separate high- and low-speed adjustment.

The external reservoir provides a larger oil volume and improved heat dissipation. This ensures that damping performance remains as consistent as possible even under high loads, such as during long off-road stages.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows the shock absorber to be quickly adapted to different load conditions without the need for tools.

The shock absorber is available as an X-TREME version without hydraulic preload adjustment.

Adjustment options

Rebound: approx. 18 clicks

Low-speed compression: adjustment of damping during slow compression movements, for example when accelerating or over long undulations

High-speed compression: adjustment of damping during fast compression movements, for example over potholes or harsh terrain edges

Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks

Technical details

46 mm piston diameter

16 mm piston rod made of hardened 42CrMo steel

Aluminum housing

External, fixed-mount reservoir

PDSII bottom-out protection

Hydraulic Preload Adjuster (HPA), handwheel freely positionable via hose

Fully serviceable and individually tunable

PDSII bottom-out protection

The PDSII system works with an additional piston that generates progressive damping towards the end of the stroke.
