Cruise control for Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 2024-26 from Veridian Cruise offers reliable electronic speed control, which provides significantly more comfort, especially on longer road and touring rides. The system maintains the selected speed automatically and noticeably relieves the throttle hand without changing the riding experience.

In addition to comfort, safety and ease of use are the focus – all functions can be controlled via a compact, waterproof switch on the handlebar.

Technical details & functions

Triple-button switch

Included in the scope of delivery is a robust, waterproof 3-button switch, suitable for 22 mm handlebars (fully opening clamp).
The functions:

• Resume / Increase – resume or increase speed

• Cancel – deactivate cruise control

• Set / Decrease – set or decrease desired speed

The switch is durable, easy to reach and discreetly integrated.

Cruise stop conditions (safety disengagement)

The system automatically deactivates the cruise control as soon as one of the following conditions occurs:

• Engine speed rises above 8000 rpm

• Front or rear brake is applied

• The throttle grip is turned more than 5% beyond the set value

• CAN bus data packets are not updated for longer than 1000 ms

• Pulling the clutch
  

Configuration via USB-C

The module features a weatherproof USB-C connection.
The following parameters can be adjusted via this:

• Speed change step size

• PID controller values

• Throttle grip limits

This allows the cruise control to be fine-tuned to personal preferences or riding style.

Diagnostic port integration

The cruise control uses the OBD diagnostic port of the bike
For workshop diagnostics:

• Simply unplug the module →

• Cruise control automatically continues to run in bypass mode

This makes the system maintenance-friendly and uncomplicated.

Installation effort

For installation, the fuel tank must be removed. Using standard workshop tools, the installation time is approximately 1–2 hours.

The supplied vehicle-specific T-harness is plugged directly between the original connectors and takes over the control of the throttle grip signals. The required speed data is read via the motorcycle's diagnostic interface.

Thanks to the vehicle-specific design, the installation is completely plug & play. No cables need to be cut, soldered or tapped with wire connectors.

No permanent modifications required.
