The METZELER Karoo 4 RALLY should not be confused with the well-known Karoo 4 adventure tire. While the standard Karoo 4 was developed for mixed road and off-road use, the RALLY version is aimed at rally-raid riders and long off-road stages.

Compared to the Karoo 4, the rally version features a coarser tread pattern and a stable carcass. This ensures good traction on loose surfaces, predictable handling, and high mileage – characteristics that are essential for rallies and long off-road tours.

The tire is suitable for sand, gravel, rock, and hard tracks and can be used with both an inner tube and a rally mousse.

The METZELER Karoo 4 RALLY is a true rally rear tire.
You notice this after just a few kilometers. The carcass is significantly more stable than that of the standard Karoo 4, and the coarser tread provides good traction on loose surfaces.

It works particularly well on gravel tracks and hard ground and remains predictable even after many kilometers. We were especially impressed by its durability in rally use.
