X-CITE + HPA shock absorber KTM 790 Adventure R 2019-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber with adjustable rebound damping and hydraulic preload adjuster (HPA). It is suitable as a replacement for the standard shock, especially if the damping does not need to be adjusted regularly for different tracks.

The damping setup was developed specifically for the KTM 790 Adventure R. The rebound adjuster changes both rebound and compression damping simultaneously in a balanced ratio.

A floating piston separates the damping oil from the nitrogen. This ensures more stable damping performance.

The handwheel of the hydraulic preload adjuster allows the shock to be quickly adjusted for different loads, without the need for tools.

The TracTive X-TREME is available with an external reservoir and separately adjustable compression damping.

Available heights

The shock absorber is available in two different versions:

Standard height
30 mm lowering

With the lowered version, it may be necessary to adjust the side and main stands.

We recommend matching the suspension height of the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a correspondingly adjusted fork cartridge.

Custom setup

We tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle clothing and a brief note on your primary area of use (street, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with a 95 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
