Shock absorber X-TREME GASGAS ES 700 2022-2024, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber with an external reservoir and PDSII bottoming protection.

The damping setup was developed specifically for the GASGAS ES 700. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of each other. The compression damping also features separate high and low-speed settings.

The external reservoir ensures a larger oil volume and better heat dissipation. As a result, the damping performance remains as constant as possible even under high loads, such as on long off-road stages.

With hydraulic spring preload via handwheel, the shock absorber is available as X-TREME + HPA.

Adjustment options

Rebound damping: approx. 18 clicks
Low-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping during slow compression movements, for example when accelerating or on long undulations
High-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping during fast compression movements, for example with potholes or hard terrain edges
Spring preload: mechanical on the shock absorber

PDSII bottoming protection

The PDSII system works with an additional piston that creates progressive damping towards the end of the suspension travel. This reduces hard bottoming during heavy impacts or jumps.

Available heights

The shock absorber is available in three different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering
25 mm raising

For the lowered version, an adjustment of the side and center stand may be necessary.

Individual tuning

We tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle clothing and a brief note on the primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with a 75 N/mm spring. Depending on the rider's weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
