X-TREME + HPA Shock Absorber Husqvarna 701 Enduro 2020-2026, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber featuring an external reservoir, hydraulic preload adjuster (HPA), and PDSII bottom-out protection.

The damping configuration was developed specifically for the Husqvarna 701 Enduro. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently. The compression damping additionally features separate high- and low-speed adjustment.

The external reservoir provides a larger oil volume and better heat dissipation. This ensures that damping performance remains as consistent as possible even under heavy loads, for example during long off-road stages.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows for quick adjustment of the shock to different load conditions, without the need for tools.

The shock absorber is available as an X-TREME version without hydraulic preload adjustment.

Adjustment Options

Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
Low-speed compression: Damping adjustment for slow compression movements, for example during acceleration or over long undulating surfaces
High-speed compression: Damping adjustment for fast compression movements, for example over potholes or hard terrain edges
Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks

Technical Details

46 mm piston diameter
16 mm piston rod made of hardened 42CrMo steel
Aluminum housing
External, fixed reservoir
PDSII bottom-out protection
Hydraulic Preload Adjuster (HPA), handwheel freely positionable via hose
Fully serviceable and individually tunable

PDSII Bottom-out Protection

The PDSII system works with an additional piston that creates progressive damping towards the end of the stroke. This reduces harsh bottoming-out during heavy impacts or jumps.

Available Heights

The shock absorber is available in three different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering
25 mm raising

For the lowered version, an adjustment of the side and center stand may be necessary.

Individual Tuning

We will tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use prior to delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on the primary area of use (road, travel, off-road, etc.).

You can simply send us this information via email or reply directly to your order confirmation.

The shock absorber is supplied as standard with a 75 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
