X-TREME Shock Absorber Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2023-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber featuring an external reservoir and PDSII bottom-out protection.

The damping configuration was developed specifically for the Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of each other. The compression damping also features separate high- and low-speed adjustment.

The external reservoir provides a larger oil volume and improved heat dissipation. This ensures that the damping performance remains as consistent as possible, even under high loads, such as on long off-road stages.

The shock absorber is available as the X-TREME + HPA with hydraulic spring preload adjustment via a handwheel.

Adjustment Options

• Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
• Low-speed compression: adjustment of damping during slow compression movements, such as when accelerating or on long undulations
• High-speed compression: adjustment of damping during fast compression movements, such as when hitting potholes or hard terrain edges
• Spring preload: mechanical on the shock absorber

PDSII Bottom-out Protection

The PDSII system utilizes an additional piston that creates progressive damping towards the end of the suspension travel. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.

Available Height

The shock absorber for the Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition is exclusively available with a 20 mm lift. At standard height, the shock absorber is available as the X-CITE + HPA or X-TREME + HPA.

We recommend coordinating the suspension height between the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a correspondingly adapted fork cartridge.

Individual Tuning

We tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on the primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber is supplied as standard with a 95 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
