Shock absorber X-TREME KOVE 450 Rally 2024-2025, TracTive
The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber with an external reservoir and PDSII bottoming control. The shock absorber is designed for the "high seat version".
The damping setup has been specially developed for the KOVE 450 Rally. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently. The compression damping also features separate high- and low-speed settings.
The external reservoir provides a larger oil volume and better heat dissipation. This ensures that the damping performance remains as consistent as possible even under high loads, such as on long off-road stages.
The shock absorber is available as X-TREME + HPA with hydraulic spring preload via a handwheel.
Adjustment options
- Rebound damping: approx. 18 clicks
- Low-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping for slow compression movements, e.g., when accelerating or on long undulations
- High-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping for fast compression movements, e.g., potholes or hard terrain edges
- Spring preload: mechanical on the shock absorber

PDSII bottoming control
The PDSII system uses an additional piston that generates progressive damping towards the end of the stroke. This reduces hard bottoming during heavy impacts or jumps.
Individual setup
We will tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.
For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with a 65 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
