The Inferno heat shield keeps your saddlebags away from the heat of the exhaust system. One or more correctly installed Inferno heat shields can reliably prevent heat damage.
Exhaust systems can reach temperatures of up to 650°C – neither soft luggage systems nor their contents can withstand such temperatures. Fortunately, a narrow gap is enough to dissipate the heat. The cooling performance is further improved by forced convection from the airflow between the exhaust and the shield.
