The Foam & Cover Kit consists of foam and a cover and is installed on the original seat base. Seat Concepts uses its own proprietary foam, which is of higher quality than the stock foam. It provides a softer and more active suspension while still offering sufficient support. The shape of the seat matches the stock contour at the front so your legs aren't spread any further apart, and it widens towards the middle to distribute weight over a larger area. This creates more comfort for long distances. On this model, the rider's seat is slightly dished at the rear. This compensates for the slope of the seat, meaning you slide forward toward the tank less.
