X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2023-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber featuring adjustable rebound damping and hydraulic preload adjustment (HPA). It is suitable as a replacement for the stock shock, particularly when damping does not need to be frequently adjusted for different types of terrain.

The damping configuration has been specifically developed for the Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition. The rebound adjuster simultaneously modifies both rebound and compression damping in a balanced ratio.

A floating piston separates the damping oil from the nitrogen, ensuring more consistent damping performance.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows for quick adjustments to different loading conditions without the need for tools.

The TracTive X-TREME is available with an external reservoir and independently adjustable compression damping.

Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks

Available Heights

The shock absorber is available in two different versions:

Standard height
30 mm lowering

For the lowered version, an adjustment to the side and center stands may be required.

We recommend coordinating the suspension height for both the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a correspondingly adjusted fork cartridge.

Individual Tuning

We tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use prior to delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary type of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with a 95 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
