X-TREME Shock Absorber KTM 690 Enduro R 2008-2018, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber featuring an external reservoir and PDSII hydraulic bump stop.

The damping configuration has been specifically developed for the KTM 690 Enduro R. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently. The compression damping additionally features separate high- and low-speed adjustment.

The external reservoir provides a larger oil volume and improved heat dissipation. This ensures that damping performance remains as consistent as possible even under heavy loads, for example during longer off-road stages.

Adjustment Options

Rebound damping: approx. 18 clicks
Low-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping for slow compression movements, such as when accelerating or on long, sweeping undulations
High-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping for fast compression movements, such as potholes or harsh terrain edges
Spring preload: mechanical, on the shock absorber

PDSII Hydraulic Bump Stop

The PDSII system utilizes an additional piston that generates progressive damping towards the end of the suspension travel. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.

Available Heights

The shock absorber is available in three different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering
25 mm raising

For the lowered version, adjustment of the side and center stands may be required.

Individual Tuning

We will tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we simply require your rider weight including motorcycle gear and brief information regarding your primary type of use (street, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber is supplied as standard with a 95 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
