One of the few (if not the only) waterproof OBD dongles on the market.
The M1 dongle features an automatic sleep mode and can therefore remain permanently connected to the motorcycle
Details on sleep mode:
Switches to sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.
OBD M1 sleep mode:
1. No communication between the mobile phone/tablet and the dongle takes place for 15 minutes.
2. The motorcycle's OBD bus has had no active data communication for 15 minutes.
OBD M1 enters normal operation:
1. The paired phone/tablet initiates the connection.
2. The motorcycle's OBD bus sends communication data.
3. The motorcycle battery voltage suddenly drops by more than 2V.
OBD M1 dongle features surge protection:
The maximum operating voltage of the dongle is 30V. At more than 30V, it switches to high-voltage protection mode. At a voltage below 30V, normal operation is resumed.
