The Veridian Cruise control for the Honda XL750 Transalp 2023/2024 offers a reliable electronic speed control system, significantly enhancing comfort, especially on longer road trips and tours. The system maintains the selected speed automatically and noticeably relieves strain on the throttle hand without altering the riding experience.

Beyond comfort, the focus is on safety and ease of use – all functions can be controlled via a compact, waterproof switch on the handlebar.

Technical Details & Functions

Triple-Button Switch

Included in the scope of delivery is a robust, waterproof 3-button switch, suitable for 22 mm handlebars (fully opening clamp).
The functions:

• Resume / Increase – resume or increase speed

• Cancel – deactivate cruise control

• Set / Decrease – set or decrease desired speed

The switch is durable, easily accessible, and discreetly integrated.

Cruise Stop Conditions (Safety Cut-offs)

The system automatically deactivates the cruise control as soon as one of the following conditions occurs:

• Engine speed drops below 1000 rpm or rises above 8000 rpm

• Front brake or rear brake is engaged

• The throttle is turned more than 5% beyond the set value

• CAN-bus data packets are not updated for more than 1000 ms

Note: Pulling the clutch alone does not deactivate the cruise control – the system is intentionally calibrated to safety-relevant signals.

Configuration via USB-C

The module features a weatherproof USB-C port.
Through this, the following parameters can be adjusted:

• Speed adjustment increment size

• PID controller values

• Throttle limits

This allows the cruise control to be fine-tuned to personal preferences or riding style.

Diagnostic Port Integration

The cruise control uses the Transalp's OBD diagnostic port
For workshop diagnostics:

• Simply unplug the module →

• Cruise control continues to run in bypass mode automatically

This makes the system maintenance-friendly and uncomplicated.

Installation Effort

Installation requires access to the area around the tank.
With appropriate tools, the installation time is:

• approx. 1–2 hours

The wiring harness includes:

• T-harness for the throttle override function

• Connection to the diagnostic port for speed data

• A simple T-tap connection to the brake cable

No permanent modifications required.
