The Honda XL750 Transalp 2025+ cruise control from Veridian Cruise provides reliable electronic speed control, which significantly increases comfort, especially on longer road and touring trips. The system maintains the selected speed automatically and noticeably relieves strain on the throttle hand without altering the riding feel.

In addition to comfort, safety and ease of use are the focus – all functions can be controlled via a compact, waterproof switch on the handlebar.

Technical details & functions

Triple-Button Switch

Included in the delivery is a robust, waterproof 3-button switch, suitable for 22 mm handlebars (fully opening clamp).
The functions:

• Resume / Increase – resume or increase speed

• Cancel – deactivate cruise control

• Set / Decrease – set or decrease desired speed

The switch is durable, easy to reach, and integrated discreetly.

Cruise Stop Conditions (Safety cut-offs)

The system automatically deactivates the cruise control as soon as one of the following conditions occurs:

• Engine speed drops below 1000 rpm or exceeds 8000 rpm

• Front brake or rear brake is applied

• The throttle is turned more than 5% beyond the set value

• CAN-bus data packets are not updated for more than 1000 ms

Note: Pulling the clutch alone does not deactivate the cruise control – the system is deliberately designed to rely on more safety-relevant signals.

Configuration via USB-C

The module features a weatherproof USB-C port.
The following parameters can be adjusted via this port:

• Speed adjustment increment size

• PID controller values

• Throttle limits

This allows the cruise control to be fine-tuned to personal preferences or riding style.

Diagnostic Port Integration

The cruise control uses the Transalp's OBD diagnostic port
For workshop diagnostics:

• Simply disconnect the module →

• Cruise control continues to run automatically in bypass mode

This makes the system easy to maintain and straightforward.

Installation effort

Access to the area around the tank is necessary for installation.
With suitable tools, the installation time is:

• approx. 1–2 hours

The cable set includes:

• T-harness for the throttle override function

• Connection to the diagnostic port for speed data

• A simple T-tap connection to the brake cable

No permanent modifications required.
