The Foam & Cover Kit consists of foam and a cover and is mounted onto the original seat pan. Seat Concepts uses a proprietary foam that is higher quality than the stock foam. It is more supple and active while still providing sufficient support. The shape of the seat matches the stock contour at the front so that your legs are not spread further apart, and widens towards the middle to distribute weight over a larger area. This creates more comfort for long distances. On this model, the seat is padded up at the front and slightly scooped out at the rear. This compensates for the slope of the seat, so you slide towards the tank less.

- Seat cover: Black Sandpaper – The grippiest surface of the comfort seats, rough like coarse sandpaper. Keeps you securely in your seat when accelerating and braking. Best used with motorcycle pants; jeans tend to get caught.
- Side cover: Black Carbon Fiber – Smooth vinyl with a subtle carbon look, with little grip to keep your legs free on the sides.
