The Foam & Cover Kit consists of foam and a cover and is mounted onto the original seat pan. Seat Concepts uses a proprietary foam that is of higher quality than the stock foam. It provides a softer and more active ride while still offering sufficient support. The shape of the seat matches the stock contour at the front so that your legs are not spread further apart, and it widens toward the middle to distribute weight over a larger area. This results in more comfort for long distances. The Rear Kit for the passenger seat features the same high-quality foam, is slightly wider and more contoured than the stock version, and is slightly raised at the front to prevent the passenger from sliding forward.

- Rider seat height: low, 25 mm lower than the stock seat of the R1200 GS (not Adventure). Requires the seat pan of the low BMW seat
- Total width: 356 mm, length same as stock
- Seat cover: Black Sandpaper – The grippiest surface of the comfort seats, rough like coarse sandpaper. Keeps you securely in place when accelerating and braking. Best used with motorcycle trousers; jeans tend to snag.
- Side cover: Black Carbon Fiber – Smooth vinyl with a subtle carbon look, with little grip to keep the legs free at the side.
