Seat Concepts uses its own foam, which is of higher quality than the stock foam. It provides a softer, more active ride while still offering sufficient support. The shape of the seat matches the stock contour at the front to prevent the legs from being spread further apart, and widens towards the middle to distribute weight over a larger area. This results in increased comfort for long distances.

- Side cover: Black Carbon Fiber – Smooth vinyl with a subtle carbon look, with low grip, so that the legs remain free at the side.
Optional seat cover
- Black Sandpaper: The grippiest surface of the comfort seats, as rough as coarse sandpaper. Keeps you securely in your seat during acceleration and braking. Best used with motorcycle pants; jeans tend to snag.
- Black Diamante: Feels like suede, similar to many stock seats on adventure and street bikes. Soft, with medium grip.
- Black Semi-Grip: The all-rounder. Provides good grip, but allows you to shift position on the seat at any time. Comfortable for long days and just as good with jeans as with motorcycle or MX/enduro pants.

The height specifications refer to the stock seat of the Tenere 700. The Tenere 700 Rally has a higher seat from the factory (seat height according to Yamaha 910 mm instead of 875 mm). Does not fit the Tenere 700 World Raid.
