Seat Concepts uses a proprietary foam that is of higher quality than the stock foam. It provides a softer, more active ride while still offering sufficient support. The shape of the seat matches the stock contour at the front so that your legs are not spread further apart, and it widens toward the middle to distribute weight over a larger area. This results in greater comfort for long distances.

- Side cover: Black Carbon Fiber – Smooth vinyl with a subtle carbon look, with low grip so that the legs remain free at the sides.
Seat cover options
- Black Sandpaper: The grippiest surface of the comfort seats, rough like coarse sandpaper. Keeps you securely in your place when accelerating and braking. Best used with motorcycle pants; jeans tend to snag.
- Black Diamante: Feels like suede, similar to many original seats on adventure and street bikes. Soft, with medium grip.
- Black Semi-Grip: The all-rounder. Provides good support, but you can shift your position on the seat at any time. Comfortable for long days and just as good with jeans as it is with motorcycle or MX/enduro pants.

The height specifications refer to the standard Tenere 700 seat. The Tenere 700 Rally comes with a taller seat from the factory (seat height according to Yamaha 910 mm instead of 875 mm). Not suitable for the Tenere 700 World Raid.
