The Rally seat is made for serious off-road riding. It is significantly narrower between the knees than the stock seat. This allows you to move more freely on the motorcycle and makes it easier to reach the ground with your feet. For long tours on the road, the Comfort seat is the better choice.

Seat cover options
- Black Sandpaper: The grippiest surface of the comfort seats, rough like coarse sandpaper. Keeps you securely in your seat during acceleration and braking. Best used with motorcycle pants; jeans tend to get stuck.
- Black Diamante: Feels like suede, similar to many stock seats on adventure and street bikes. Soft, with medium grip.
- Black Semi-Grip: The all-rounder. Provides good grip, but you can shift your position on the seat at any time. Comfortable for long days and just as good with jeans as it is with motorcycle or MX/enduro pants.

The height specifications refer to the stock seat of the Tenere 700. The Tenere 700 Rally comes with a taller seat from the factory (seat height according to Yamaha is 910 mm instead of 875 mm). Not suitable for the Tenere 700 World Raid.
