Carpe Iter Intelligent Charging Power Supply, black
The Carpe Iter dual charging system was developed to charge the CI Pad simultaneously via the pogo pins built into the charging cradle and the M8 connector.
The black power supply unit only switches on when at least 13 volts are detected at the input, which is generally the case when a motorcycle is running.
If the input voltage drops below 13V, the power supply switches off so as not to drain the motorcycle battery (this is usually the case when the motorcycle is off).
Important: It is absolutely essential that when using the pogo pins and the M8 connector simultaneously to charge the CI Pad, the power comes from the same source! In other words, do NOT connect the M8 cable to the ignition and the pogo pins directly to the battery, for example.
Using the dual charging system offered here prevents this potential error.
