X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin 2020-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber featuring adjustable rebound, hydraulic preload adjustment (HPA), and PDSII bottom-out protection. It is suitable as a replacement for the stock shock, especially when damping does not need to be frequently adjusted for different types of terrain.

The damping characteristics have been specifically developed for the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin. The rebound adjuster changes both rebound and compression damping simultaneously in a balanced ratio.

The shock absorber uses damping oil and nitrogen without a separating piston (emulsion design). This makes the X-CITE a good and cost-effective choice for street use.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows the shock to be quickly adjusted to different load conditions without the need for tools.

The TracTive X-TREME is available for those who require an external reservoir and independently adjustable compression damping.

PDSII bottom-out protection

The PDSII system works with an additional piston that generates progressive damping towards the end of the stroke. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.

Available heights

The shock absorber is available in three different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering
20 mm raising

With the lowered version, it may be necessary to adjust the side and center stands.

We recommend coordinating the suspension height for both the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with an appropriately adjusted fork cartridge.

Individual tuning

We tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including riding gear and a brief note on your primary type of use (street, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber is supplied as standard with an 85 N/mm spring. Depending on your weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
