X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber Honda XL750 Transalp 2023-2025, TracTive
The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber featuring adjustable rebound damping, hydraulic spring preload (HPA), and PDSII bottoming control. It is suitable as a replacement for the stock shock, especially when damping does not need to be adjusted regularly for different conditions.
The damping setup was developed specifically for the Honda XL750 Transalp. Using the rebound adjuster, both rebound and compression damping are adjusted simultaneously in a balanced ratio.
The shock absorber uses damping oil and nitrogen without a dividing piston (emulsion design). This makes the X-CITE a good, cost-effective choice for road use.
The hydraulic spring preload handwheel allows the shock absorber to be quickly adapted to different load conditions without the need for tools.
The TracTive X-TREME is available for those requiring an external reservoir and independently adjustable compression damping.
Adjustment options
- Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
- Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks
Technical details
- 46 mm piston diameter
- 16 mm piston rod made of hardened 42CrMo steel
- Aluminum housing
- Emulsion design without dividing piston
- PDSII bottoming control
- Hydraulic spring preload (HPA), handwheel can be freely positioned via hose
- Fully serviceable and customizable
PDSII bottoming control
The PDSII system utilizes an additional piston that provides progressive damping towards the end of the stroke. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.
Available heights
The shock absorber is available in three different versions:
- Standard height
- 25 mm lowering
- 25 mm raising
Adjustments to the side and center stands may be required for the lowered version.
We recommend coordinating the suspension height between the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a correspondingly adjusted fork cartridge.
Custom setup
We adjust the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.
For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note regarding your primary usage (road, touring, off-road, etc.).
You can simply send this information to us via email or reply directly to your order confirmation.
The shock absorber comes standard with a 100 N/mm spring (25 mm raising: 95 N/mm). Softer or harder springs are also available depending on rider weight and intended use.
