X-TREME Shock Absorber Aprilia Tuareg 660 / Rally 660 2021-2025, TracTive
The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber featuring an external reservoir and PDSII bottoming protection.
The damping characteristics have been specifically developed for the Aprilia Tuareg 660 and Tuareg Rally 660. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of each other. The compression stage additionally features separate high- and low-speed settings.
The external reservoir provides a larger oil volume and better heat dissipation. As a result, damping performance remains as consistent as possible, even under high loads, such as on long off-road stages.
Equipped with a hydraulic spring preload adjuster via handwheel, the shock absorber is available as the X-TREME + HPA.
Adjustment Options
- Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
- Low-speed compression: adjustment of damping for slow compression movements, for example during acceleration or long undulations
- High-speed compression: adjustment of damping for fast compression movements, for example potholes or sharp terrain edges
- Spring preload: mechanical on the shock absorber

PDSII Bottoming Protection
The PDSII system works with an additional piston that creates progressive damping towards the end of the suspension travel. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.
Available Heights
The shock absorber is available in two different versions:
- Standard height
- 20 mm lift
We recommend matching the suspension height at the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber is combined with a correspondingly adjusted fork cartridge.
Individual Setup
Before delivery, we adjust the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use.
For this, we only require your rider weight including motorcycle gear and brief information on your primary area of use (street, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with a 95 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
