X-TREME Fork Cartridge for Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin 2020-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, closed cartridge kit for the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin fork, featuring adjustable rebound and compression damping as well as a hydraulic bump stop.

The two cartridges are installed in the fork legs without requiring any modifications to the fork itself. Compression damping is adjusted at the top of the left fork leg, and rebound damping is adjusted at the top of the right fork leg.

Each cartridge features a closed design and operates as an independent, pressurized shock absorber with its own damping oil. The large 35 mm piston allows for a high oil flow, ensuring stable and highly controllable damping performance.

The cartridges were developed in close cooperation with adventure and rally riders. The result is significantly better handling off-road while maintaining comfort on long-distance rides.

Adjustment Options

Compression: top of the left fork leg, 18 clicks
Rebound: top of the right fork leg, 18 clicks
Spring preload: on both fork legs, up to 12 mm adjustment range

Hydraulic Bump Stop

The hydraulic bump stop acts at the end of the suspension travel. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts.

Available Heights

The cartridge kit is available in three different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering
20 mm raising

For the lowered version, an adjustment of the side and center stand may be required. For the raised version, an adjustment of the ABS and brake lines may be required.

We recommend matching the suspension height at the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the cartridge kit is combined with an appropriately adjusted shock absorber.

Individual Setup

We tune the cartridge kit to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary type of use (street, adventure touring, off-road, etc.).

As standard, the cartridge kit is delivered with 5.6 N/mm springs (25 mm lowering: 6.0 N/mm). Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
