X-TREME Fork Cartridge Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports 2020-2023, TracTive
The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, closed-cartridge kit for the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports fork, featuring adjustable compression and rebound damping, as well as a hydraulic bottom-out control.
The two cartridges are installed into the fork legs without requiring any modifications to the fork itself. Compression damping is adjusted at the top of the left fork leg, while rebound damping is adjusted at the top of the right fork leg.
Each cartridge features a closed design and operates like an independent, pressurized shock absorber with its own damping oil. The large 35 mm piston allows for high oil flow, ensuring stable and highly controllable damping performance.
The cartridges were developed in close cooperation with adventure and rally riders. The result is significantly improved off-road handling while maintaining comfort on long-distance rides.
To achieve the best results, we recommend replacing both the shock absorber and the fork cartridge at the same time.

- Compression: top of the left fork leg, 18 clicks

- Spring preload: both fork legs, up to 12 mm adjustment range

Hydraulic bottom-out control
The hydraulic bottom-out control acts at the end of the fork travel. This reduces harsh bottoming-out during heavy impacts.

For this, we only need your riding weight, including motorcycle gear, and a brief note on your primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The cartridge kit comes standard with 5.6 N/mm springs. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
