X-TREME Fork Cartridge for Yamaha Tenere 700 2019-2024, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, closed cartridge kit for the Yamaha Tenere 700 fork, featuring adjustable compression and rebound damping as well as a hydraulic bottoming control.

Both cartridges are inserted into the fork legs without requiring any modifications to the fork. Compression damping is adjusted at the top of the left fork leg, and rebound damping at the top of the right fork leg.

Each cartridge features a closed design and operates like an independent, pressurized shock absorber with its own damping oil. The large 35 mm piston allows for a high oil flow, ensuring stable and highly controllable damping characteristics.

The cartridges were developed in close cooperation with adventure and rally riders. The result is significantly better off-road handling while maintaining comfort on long-distance rides.

The X-PERIENCE is available as an open cartridge kit with a 26 mm piston.

Adjustment Options

Compression: top of the left fork leg, 18 clicks
Rebound: top of the right fork leg, 18 clicks
Spring preload: both fork legs, up to 12 mm adjustment range

Hydraulic Bottoming Control

The hydraulic bottoming control acts at the end of the fork travel. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts.

Available Heights

The cartridge kit is available in four different versions:

Standard height
20 mm lowering
35 mm lowering
25 mm raising

For the lowered versions, adjustments to the side and center stands may be necessary. For the raised version, adjustments to the ABS and brake lines may be required.

We recommend coordinating the suspension height for both the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the cartridge kit should be combined with an appropriately adjusted shock absorber.

Individual Setup

We will set up the cartridge kit based on your rider weight and intended use before shipping.

For this, we only need your rider weight including riding gear and a brief note regarding your primary usage (street, adventure, off-road, etc.).

The cartridge kit comes standard with 6.0 N/mm springs (35 mm lowering: 6.4 N/mm). Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
