X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber Ducati DesertX 2021-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber with adjustable rebound damping and hydraulic preload adjuster (HPA). It is suitable as a replacement for the stock shock, especially when damping does not need to be regularly adjusted for different tracks.

The damping setup has been specially developed for the Ducati DesertX. The rebound adjuster changes both rebound and compression damping simultaneously in a balanced ratio.

The shock absorber uses damping oil and nitrogen without a dividing piston (emulsion design). This makes the X-CITE a good and affordable choice for street use.

The hydraulic preload handwheel allows the shock absorber to be quickly adjusted to different load conditions without tools.

The TracTive X-TREME is available with an external reservoir and independently adjustable compression damping.

Available heights

The shock absorber is available in two different versions:

Standard height
35 mm lowering

For the lowered version, an adjustment of the side and center stands may be required.

We recommend coordinating the suspension height of the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a correspondingly adapted fork cartridge.

Individual tuning

We will tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary area of use (street, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with an 85 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
