X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber Yamaha Tenere 700 2019-2024, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber featuring adjustable rebound, hydraulic preload adjustment (HPA), and PDSII bottom-out protection. It is suitable as a replacement for the stock shock, especially when damping does not need to be frequently adjusted for different types of terrain.

The damping configuration has been specifically developed for the Yamaha Tenere 700. The rebound adjuster changes both rebound and compression damping together in a balanced ratio.

The shock operates with damping oil and nitrogen without a dividing piston (emulsion design). This makes the X-CITE a great, cost-effective choice for street use.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows for quick adjustments to the shock for different load conditions without the need for tools.

The TracTive X-TREME is available with an external reservoir and independently adjustable compression damping.

PDSII bottom-out protection

The PDSII system utilizes an additional piston that generates progressive damping towards the end of the suspension travel. This reduces hard bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.

Available heights

The shock absorber is available in two different versions:

Standard height
35 mm lowering

Adjustments to the side stand and center stand may be necessary for the lowered version.

We recommend balancing the suspension height for both the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a suitably adjusted fork cartridge.

Individual configuration

We configure the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note regarding your primary usage (street, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock comes standard with a 90 N/mm spring (35 mm lowering: 85 N/mm). Softer or harder springs are also available depending on rider weight and intended use.
