Turkana Gear TrekBag for "MadMule" system

Turkana Gear TrekBag for "MadMules" system

Versatile and robust saddlebags for the MadMules system

The Turkana Trek-Bags™ are versatile and highly robust panniers, specifically designed for adventure use. They are compatible with M.O.L.L.E. systems, such as the Turkana MadMules. The bags are available in various sizes from 5 to 20 liters, ensuring the right size can be found for every trip – whether for a weekend adventure on demanding trails or a three-week tour.

Durable & Resilient

The Trek-Bags™ are made of Rhinocote™, an extremely resilient and durable material. This fabric offers high tear and abrasion resistance and withstands the rigors of off-road and adventure travel. The exterior of the bags is waterproof and features double-stitched seams, making them ideal for tough use on unpaved roads. In critical areas, reinforced seams provide additional durability.

Waterproof & Modular

Each Trek-Bag™ features a roll-top opening as well as a removable, waterproof inner bag, which protects valuables from water and dust. Thanks to the M.O.L.L.E. system, the bags can be attached to any PALS webbing – whether on the MadMules™ base, other Turkana bags and systems, or even third-party products.

The sides of the Trek-Bags™ are also equipped with PALS loops, allowing additional Turkana bags such as the Oxpacker™ or BushBaby™ to be attached. This makes the Trek-Bags™ universally applicable.

Lightweight & Repairable

In addition to their versatility, the Trek-Bags™ are also lightweight and repairable, making them the perfect choice for travelers on adventures. They were designed according to the KISS principle (Keep It Simple & Straightforward) to ensure easy and uncomplicated use.
