DMD Remote 2 remote control

For what type of navigation is the Remote 2 suitable?

The Remote 2 is primarily designed for map navigation with DMD2.

You can use the joystick to pan the map in any direction. Additionally, there is a thumb switch for zooming and two further buttons, for example, to center the map or confirm a selection.

Other Android navigation apps can also be operated. However, the functions available depend on the respective app.

Can I also use the Remote 2 without Bluetooth?

Yes. On compatible DMD tablets such as the T865X, T880X, and NOR7E, the Remote 2 can be connected directly via cable. This handles both the power supply and data transmission.

For other Android devices, data transmission occurs via Bluetooth, while the power supply is provided via the cable.

Is the Remote 2 also suitable for digital roadbooks?

Yes. In roadbook mode, you can use the thumb switch to scroll the roadbook forward and backward and use the two buttons to correct the tripmaster.

If you mainly use maps and only occasionally ride roadbooks, the Remote 2 is a versatile solution.
