X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber KTM 390 Adventure 2020-2024, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber with adjustable rebound damping and hydraulic preload adjuster (HPA). It serves as a replacement for the stock shock absorber, especially when damping does not need to be regularly adjusted for different tracks.

The damping setup was developed specifically for the KTM 390 Adventure. The rebound adjuster modifies both rebound and compression damping simultaneously in a balanced ratio.

The shock absorber utilizes damping oil and nitrogen without a separator piston (emulsion design). This makes the X-CITE a good, cost-effective choice for road use.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows the shock absorber to be quickly adapted to different load conditions without tools.

The TracTive X-PERIENCE is available with an external reservoir and independently adjustable compression damping. The shock absorber is available as an X-CITE model without hydraulic preload adjustment.

• Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
• Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks

Custom Setup

We will tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary type of use (road, travel, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with a 150 N/mm spring. Softer or harder springs are also available depending on rider weight and intended use.
