X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber KTM 790 Adventure 2019-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber with adjustable rebound damping and hydraulic preload adjuster (HPA). It serves as a replacement for the standard shock absorber, especially if the damping does not need to be adjusted regularly for different track conditions.

The damping configuration has been specifically developed for the KTM 790 Adventure. The rebound adjuster changes both rebound and compression damping simultaneously in a balanced ratio.

A dividing piston separates the damping oil from the nitrogen, which ensures more stable damping performance.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows the shock absorber to be quickly adjusted to different load conditions without tools.

The TracTive X-TREME is available with an external reservoir and separately adjustable compression damping.

Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks

Available heights

The shock absorber is available in two different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering

For the lowered version, an adjustment of the side stand and center stand may be necessary.

We recommend coordinating the suspension height of the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a correspondingly adjusted fork cartridge.

Individual tuning

We tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and brief information on the primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber is supplied as standard with a 110 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
