X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber KTM 890 Adventure 2021-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber with adjustable rebound damping and hydraulic preload adjustment (HPA). It is suitable as a replacement for the stock shock absorber, especially when damping does not need to be regularly adjusted for different tracks.

The damping setup was developed specifically for the KTM 890 Adventure. The rebound adjuster changes both rebound and compression damping simultaneously in a balanced ratio.

A separator piston separates the damping oil from the nitrogen. This ensures more stable damping performance.

The hydraulic preload adjuster's handwheel allows the shock absorber to be quickly adapted to different load conditions without the need for tools.

The TracTive X-TREME is available with an external reservoir and separately adjustable compression damping.

Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks

Available heights

The shock absorber is available in two different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering

With the lowered version, an adjustment of the side and center stand may be necessary.

We recommend matching the suspension height of the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber is combined with a suitably adjusted fork cartridge.

Individual setup

We tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber is supplied as standard with a 110 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
