X-CITE + HPA Shock Absorber KTM 890 Adventure R 2021-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-CITE is a high-quality shock absorber featuring adjustable rebound damping and hydraulic preload adjustment (HPA). It is suitable as a replacement for the stock shock, especially when damping does not need to be frequently adjusted for different types of terrain.

The damping characteristics have been specifically developed for the KTM 890 Adventure R. The rebound adjuster modifies both rebound and compression damping simultaneously in a balanced ratio.

A separator piston keeps the damping oil and nitrogen separate. This ensures more stable damping performance.

The hydraulic preload handwheel allows the shock absorber to be quickly adjusted to different load conditions without the need for tools.

The TracTive X-TREME version is available with an external reservoir and independently adjustable compression damping.

Available Heights

The shock absorber is available in two different versions:

Standard height
30 mm lowering

With the lowered version, an adjustment of the side and center stand may be necessary.

We recommend matching the suspension height of the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber is combined with a correspondingly adjusted fork cartridge.

Individual Setup

Before delivery, we will configure the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary type of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

You can simply send this information to us via email or reply directly to your order confirmation.

The shock absorber is supplied as standard with a 95 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
