X-TREME Shock Absorber Ducati DesertX Rally 2024-2025, TracTive
The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber featuring an external reservoir and PDSII bottoming-out protection.
The damping configuration has been specifically developed for the Ducati DesertX Rally. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently. The compression damping also features separate high- and low-speed settings.
The external reservoir ensures a larger oil volume and improved heat dissipation. As a result, damping performance remains as consistent as possible even under heavy loads, such as on long off-road sections.
The shock absorber is available as the X-TREME + HPA with a hydraulic spring preload adjuster via a handwheel.
Adjustment Options
- Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
- Low-speed compression: damping adjustment for slow compression movements, for example during acceleration or over long undulations
- High-speed compression: damping adjustment for fast compression movements, for example over potholes or hard terrain edges
- Spring preload: mechanical adjustment on the shock absorber

PDSII Bottoming-out Protection
The PDSII system utilizes an additional piston that creates progressive damping towards the end of the suspension travel. This reduces harsh bottoming-out during heavy impacts or jumps.

- 15 mm lift
Individual Tuning
We will set up the shock absorber according to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.
For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary usage area (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with an 85 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
