The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber with an external reservoir, hydraulic preload adjuster (HPA), and PDSII bottom-out protection.

The damping calibration was developed specifically for the Husqvarna 701 Enduro. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of one another. The compression damping additionally features separate high- and low-speed adjustment.

The external reservoir provides a larger oil volume and better heat dissipation. This ensures that the damping performance remains as consistent as possible even under high loads, such as on long off-road stages.

Using the handwheel of the hydraulic preload adjuster, the shock absorber can be quickly adapted to different load conditions without the need for tools.

The shock absorber is available as the X-TREME model without the hydraulic preload adjuster.

Adjustment options

• Rebound: approx. 18 clicks
• Low-speed compression: adjustment of damping during slow compression movements, for example when accelerating or hitting long undulations
• High-speed compression: adjustment of damping during fast compression movements, for example when hitting potholes or hard off-road edges
• Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel, more than 60 clicks

PDSII bottom-out protection

The PDSII system works with an additional piston that creates progressive damping towards the end of the suspension travel. This reduces hard bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.

Individual tuning

We will tune the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and a brief note on your primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes with a 75 N/mm spring as standard. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
