X-TREME Shock Absorber + HPA KOVE 800X Pro 2025-2026, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber for the KOVE 800X Pro, featuring an external reservoir, hydraulic preload adjuster (HPA), and PDSII bottom-out protection.

Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of each other. The compression damping also features separate high- and low-speed adjustment settings.

With its extra-long external reservoir, the shock holds significantly more oil than the stock unit. This keeps the oil temperature lower and maintains consistent damping performance, even under heavy loads.

The hydraulic preload adjuster handwheel allows you to quickly adjust the shock for different load conditions without the need for tools.

Adjustment Options

Rebound: adjuster at the bottom of the shock
Low-speed compression: adjusts damping during slow suspension movements, such as accelerating or long, sweeping bumps
High-speed compression: adjusts damping during fast suspension movements, such as potholes or hard off-road ledges
Spring preload: hydraulic via handwheel

PDSII Bottom-out Protection

The PDSII system utilizes an additional piston that creates progressive damping toward the end of the stroke. This reduces harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts or jumps.

Available Heights

The shock absorber is available in three different versions:

Standard height
30 mm lowering
20 mm raising

For the lowered version, adjustments to the side stand and center stand may be necessary.

We recommend coordinating the suspension height between the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the shock absorber should be combined with a matching fork cartridge.

Custom Setup

We will set up the shock absorber for your rider weight and intended use prior to delivery.

For this, we only need your rider weight including riding gear and a brief note regarding your primary type of usage (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with a 90 N/mm spring. Depending on your rider weight and intended use, softer or stiffer springs are also available.
