X-TREME Shock Absorber Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid 2022-2025, TracTive
The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, fully adjustable shock absorber with an external reservoir and PDSII bottoming-out protection.
The damping configuration has been specially developed for the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid. Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of each other. The compression damping also features separate high- and low-speed settings.
The external reservoir ensures a larger oil volume and better heat dissipation. As a result, damping performance remains as constant as possible even under high loads, such as on long off-road stages.
Equipped with a hydraulic spring preload adjuster via handwheel, the shock absorber is available as X-TREME + HPA.
To achieve the best results, we recommend replacing the shock absorber and fork cartridge at the same time.
Adjustment Options
- Rebound damping: approx. 18 clicks
- Low-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping for slow compression movements, such as during acceleration or long undulating bumps
- High-speed compression damping: adjustment of damping for fast compression movements, such as potholes or hard terrain edges
- Spring preload: mechanical on the shock absorber

PDSII Bottoming-out Protection
The PDSII system works with an additional piston that generates progressive damping towards the end of the stroke. This reduces hard bottoming-out during heavy impacts or jumps.
Individual Setup
We adjust the shock absorber to your rider weight and intended use before delivery.
For this, we only need your rider weight including motorcycle gear and brief information on your primary area of use (road, touring, off-road, etc.).

The shock absorber comes standard with an 80 N/mm spring. Depending on rider weight and intended use, softer or harder springs are also available.
