X-TREME Fork Cartridge KTM 790 Adventure 2019-2025, TracTive

The TracTive X-TREME is a high-quality, closed-cartridge kit for the KTM 790 Adventure fork, featuring adjustable compression and rebound damping as well as a hydraulic bottoming control.

The two cartridges are installed in the fork legs without any modifications to the fork. Compression damping is adjusted at the top of the left fork leg, and rebound damping at the top of the right.

Each cartridge is a sealed unit, operating like an individual pressurized shock absorber with its own damping oil. The large 35 mm piston allows for high oil flow and ensures stable, highly controllable damping characteristics.

The cartridges were developed in close cooperation with adventure and rally riders. The result is significantly better handling off-road while maintaining comfort on long-distance rides.

Adjustment Options

Compression: top of the left fork leg, 18 clicks
Rebound: top of the right fork leg, 18 clicks
Spring preload: on both fork legs, up to 12 mm adjustment range

Hydraulic Bottoming Control

The hydraulic bottoming control engages at the end of the suspension travel, reducing harsh bottoming out during heavy impacts.

Available Heights

The cartridge kit is available in four different versions:

Standard height
25 mm lowering
15 mm lift
40 mm lift

For the lowered version, an adjustment of the side and center stands may be necessary. For the lifted versions, adjustment of the ABS and brake lines may be required.

We recommend matching the suspension height of the front and rear wheels. Ideally, the cartridge kit should be combined with a correspondingly adjusted shock absorber.

Individual Setup

We will tune the cartridge kit to your rider weight and intended use before shipment.

For this, we only need your rider weight including riding gear and a brief note on your primary area of use (street, touring, off-road, etc.).

The cartridge kit comes standard with 6.4 N/mm springs (40 mm lift: 6.0 N/mm). Softer or stiffer springs are also available depending on rider weight and application.
